AndroidHeads meet Anyline

Project Description

AndroidHeads meet Anyline

Two weeks ago we had the honor of hosting the monthly AndroidHeads meetup in our cool new office space “Die Manege”.

Not only did we have about 15 very interested Android developers in our office, we also had the opportunity to introduce Anyline and give a talk ourselves.

ANYLINE – THE MOBILE OCR SDK

After a short welcome of the AndroidHeads organizers our product manager Matthias gave an introduction of Anyline as THE mobile OCR SDK and how we started developing Anyline when mySugr asked us to make things easier for their customers.

LOW-END ANDROID CAMERAS AND THE EXPOSURE TRIANGLE

After giving everybody a general idea what Anyline is actually doing, our computer vision specialist Martin held a very interesting talk about “Low-end Android Cameras and the Exposure Traingle”. There were quite some detailed questions asked after the talk and the reactions and the feedback of our guests were very good.

After the AndroidHeads meetup a COMPUTER VISION MEETUP follows

Now that we saw what can be done with all this space at our new office we decided that it would be a great idea to host our own meetup.

So the very first Vienna Computer Vision Meetup will be hosted on the 24th of November at “Die Manege”. Come join us for some interesting talks and free drinks 😉

Also a big thank you again to AndroidHeads for giving us the opportunity to host their meetup!
