WHAT’S NEW IN RELEASE 3.27?
The latest Anyline release includes license plate scanning improvements, an improved auto-focus and a fixed camera view. These changes make it easier than ever to scan with Anyline. Check them out for yourself – you can download a free trial of our SDK here!
License Plate Scanning
One area of focus for this release was to improve scan accuracy when processing Romanian license plates. This has been achieved across all platforms and will help us to improve the scanning of all license plate types in future releases.
Support for Slovenian ID scanning has been added to the Anyline SDK. They use SI for the Slovenian country code instead of SLO, which does not comply with the ICAO standards. From Anyline 3.27, scanning of Slovenian country codes will now be supported by our MRZ scanning solution.
Another key area for upgrades this release was the camera view auto-focus on Android devices. This has been improved and makes it easier to perform scans of all types.
Fixes and Breaking Changes
Release 3.27 also includes fixes and breaking changes to the SDK. These include:
- The camera is now displayed correctly when rotating from landscape to landscape view.
- You can access the fields of the “ALMRZResult” with corresponding method calls.
For a complete overview of all changes and improvements in this release, see our official release notes in our documentation.
