WIN A TICKET + A FLIGHT TO THE AUGMENTED WORLD EXPO 2016! 2017-11-07T17:06:53+00:00

Project Description

Win a Ticket + a Flight to the Augmented World Expo 2016!

Anyline is flying to Berlin in October in order to attend the AWE 2016. A little bit about the event: The Augmented World Expo was originally held once a year in Santa Clara – in Silicon Valley. This year they started to expand to Asia and Europe in order to cater to the mass of companies working with AR technologies in other parts of the world. This means the industry in meeting in Berlin this October. Furthermore, the event is also known as the biggest industry event in the AR and VR sector with hardware companies, AR agencies, software developers and big players like Intel, Amazon and Bosch attending.

Anyline attended the Santa Clara event the first time in 2015 and has been an active member of the community since. As avid fans of the conference, we’d like to offer the opportunity for a developer in our community to attend the event! And this is where the challenge comes in.

The Challenge

We have this little OCR SDK, which we are offering on our website. It’s a tool which enables smartphones and smartglasses to scan any kind of text, number, character and code and can easily be adjusted with a few parameters. So, this is your challenge:

Build an awesome SDK implementation with Anyline!

  1. Feasibility: it should actually make sense in real life
  2. Creativity: we are not looking for the next business card scanner
  3. No duplicates of Anyline’s preconfigurations which are included in the SDK bundle ;)
  4. Functionality: it should basically work and scan stuff
  5. All mobile platforms allowed
  6. Does not have to be a full mobile app!

How do I participate?

  1. Fork the OCR Examples App Source from GitHub:
    iOS SDK | Android SDK
  2. Build, build, build
  3. Push to GitHub and send us the link (or email directly to [email protected])
