For the first time in Austria, it will be possible to capture the dimension of tires in real-time by scanning them with a smartphone. The data is automatically transferred to the tire portal “meinereifen.at” to offer customers a completely new information and selection experience. This was made possible by Auto Plus – a leading tire importer and wholesaler – and Anyline – the market leader for mobile data capture in the automotive industry.
Vienna, Austria – September 2022: Auto Plus, one of Austria’s leading tire importers and wholesalers, today announced its official cooperation with Anyline, the market leader for mobile data capture in the automotive industry. The aim of this cooperation is to further simplify and improve the customer experience on the tire portal meinereifen.at.
Currently, 75% of consumers obtain information about their future tires online. The correct entry of tire dimensions is essential, as otherwise incorrect or unsuitable models are suggested.
Warehousing software also gets the new scanning technology
The partnership between Auto Plus and Anyline marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration between the two companies focused on innovative solutions for the tire market. As a project for the future, Anyline and Auto Plus are already working hard on a tire depot program that will be equipped with the latest tire scanning technology.
