The Next Steps of Digitization: Anyline Advances in ID & Barcode
The new year is in full swing and we are proud to present our latest release, Anyline 28. This version contains major enhancements for our ID solutions, driver’s license scanner and barcode scanner, alongside performance increases across all of our modules, and UI/UX improvements.
With Anyline 28, we added support for Canadian driver’s licenses and European health insurance cards on all supported platforms, as well as new features like multi-barcode scanning for Android. Let’s take a closer look.
Scan Canadian Driver's Licenses
Anyline comes to the Great White North, as our driver license scanner now offers full support for scanning driver’s licenses from Canada. Scan driver’s licenses from Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec with high accuracy, speed and secure data processing.

Scan European Health Insurance Cards (EHIC)
Across the EU, the use of standards across different borders and health care systems has proven to be more important than ever. European Health Insurance Cards (EHIC) allow anyone who is insured by a European country to get health treatments in other states for free or at a reduced cost, if those treatments become necessary during a visit.
With Anyline’s latest release, we are adding full support to our data capture solutions for scanning health insurance cards from France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. Governmental institutions, alongside healthcare providers and services are now able to swiftly digitize health insurance cards with any mobile device and process the captured data in the most secure way.
As reported in Der Standard, this technology is already being used by healthcare providers in Austria, where it will help to simplify the process of COVID-19 vaccinations!
Multi-Barcode Scanning Feature
With the latest enhancement of our integrated barcode scanning solution, you can perform multi-barcode scans with mobile devices. Scan several barcodes at the same time and process their data at once to speed up workflows and boost process efficiency.
