Clizzz was looking for a way to boost the efficiency of their registration app, as well as easing the check-in process for the tourist accommodations’ staff and managers. Making this process faster and easier would also make incoming guests begin their stay in a positive and relaxed way, avoiding language barriers and/or misunderstandings. At the same time, the elimination of spelling mistakes would ensure high compliance with governmental law standards on the hotel check-in registration process.
Contactless Check-In Solution
Clizzz found the solution on how to optimize and digitize the hotel check-in registration process via their own app by integrating Anyline mobile scanning solutions. Enhanced with mobile scanning, the app is able to scan the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone) code from the passport / ID provided by the hotels’ guests and processes it into a useful digital output that is saved in the backend system of the hotel. Anyline also automatically makes a verification image of the document, so no further equipment such as a copy machine, is necessary.
This mobile hotel check-in solution can also be used everywhere, as the Anyline technology works offline too, as the data processing is getting done directly on the mobile device and the data gets transmitted to the client’s server at a later point in time. This eases the registration process for both, incoming guests as well as the tourist accommodation’s staff.
