Anyline 31: Arabic Script Comes To Anyline
Expanding our technology into new markets has always been a priority for us at Anyline. Having recently brought our industry-leading ID scanning solution to the North American market, we are proud to announce today that we have a new first for our OCR reading solution. Arabic Script has come to Anyline and our scanning solution library!
Introducing Arabic Script OCR
Teaching our solution to read characters outside of the Latin alphabet has been a significant challenge. The technical work that has been done by our development team is nothing short of amazing and as you will see in our coming releases, we are only scratching the surface of what’s to come.
Anyline 31 brings with it our first Arabic script ID document, the United Arab Emirates Resident ID card, a first step in the GCC region for our expanding ID solution. You can see the full list of supported ID documents here.
With ID scanning now available for the UAE markets, opportunities to optimize processes have been unlocked for a variety of industries, including hospitality and tourism, telecommunications, and financial services to name a few. And when paired with our highly popular Face Authentication and Liveness Detection Technology, you can capture ID’s with confidence and the highest level of security.

Barcode Scanning Enhancements
Continuing on the great barcode developments from the Anyline 30 release last month, Anyline 31 brings further scanning additions to our Barcode scanning capabilities. With this latest release, we are happy to share that we can now read MaxiCode and Inverted Data Matrix, adding two more symbologies to an already impressive barcode library.

Over The Air Updates for The Anyline Trainer
Last month back, in our Anyline 26 release, you would have read our news on the release of Over The Air (OTA) updates. With this feature, you are able to refresh the app by pulling down on the page and it will automatically download the accuracy improvements.
And while this past release focused on our ID solutions, we are excited to share that this fantastic feature has come to the Anyline Trainer, supporting the deployment for the Xamarin Android SDK.
