Anyline 29 Launches New IDs, License Plates & More
Our latest release Anyline 29 adds something for everyone, with innovations across our line of solutions.
In summary, we have added 21 new European IDs to our library, taken a major step forward for capturing US license plates, launched a new UX function for barcode scanning and even a completely new feature for our ever-popular utility meter reading solutions.

Scan EU Identity Cards
We have added a huge new batch of European National Identity cards, which can now be easily scanned using our Universal ID scanner. The new countries added are: Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Scan US License Plates
We are proud to launch US license plate scanning to our product list! This release currently covers 29 US states, which will soon be updated to complete the full collection. They can be found on the SDK as well as a new section on the demo app for US license plates.

Easily Identify Barcodes with a New Visual Overlay
In retail and logistic environments, products and packages are often left in disorganized piles, making it difficult to identify one from the next, and needlessly complicated tasks like inventory management and deliveries.
With our new visual overlay function, you can hover over multiple products at the same time and identify exactly what you need through the barcode scanner!
This new feature is available for all Android devices now. Full visual overlay support for iOS will follow soon. Get in contact for more details.
Scan OBIS Codes on Utility Meters
Our meter reading solutions for the utility oil and gas industries are renowned for their accuracy and robustness, making them the first choice for industry giants like E.ON, Vattenfall and OMV, among many others.
Now, we are excited to launch our latest feature – the ability to capture notoriously difficult OBIS codes on digital meters. Users will be able to detect the counter and value as they change on screen, and complete the reading in a single function.

Our last feature from the Anyline 29 release is the addition of result sharing for our Android demo app. It will now be possible to capture data with the demo app, then share result data and images with other services and apps!
